You may work or do business in Spain and not have to prove having lived in Spain for a set period.

The Golden Visa is a permit that gives more freedom and privileges in Spain.

Why is the Golden Visa one of the most popular options in Spain?

  • • Because it includes the possibility of teleworking in Spain for you and your family members, whether self-employed or employed.
  • • Fast. Once you have submitted the application, visas will be resolved within 10 days and residence permits within 20 working days.
  • • There is no minimum stay. Renewal does not require an effective residence in Spain. There is no minimum stay requirement
  • • The investor residence permit lasts 3 years but can be renewed for consecutive periods of 5 years.
  • • First step towards gaining nationality because you will have been a resident, which simplifies the calculations established in Article 22.1 of the Civil Code
  • • Do not leave your relatives behind. The investor residence permit allows you to bring your family, whether spouse or civil partner, minor or adult children (children over 18 years old whenever they are financially dependent on you), and even your dependent parents.

  • • Public debt (2 million euros).
  • • Stocks or shares of Spanish companies (1 million euros).
  • • Investment funds, closed-end investment funds or venture capital funds established in Spain (1 million euros).
  • • Bank deposits with Spanish financial entities (1 million euros).

For investment in REAL ESTATE (€500,000).

For Investment in a BUSINESS PROJECT in Spain.There is no minimum amount, but its impact on the general interest of Spain will be assessed, and it must meet at least one of these conditions:

Create employment.

Have a socio-economic impact in the geographical area where it will be developed.

Be a relevant contribution to scientific and/or technological innovation

No criminal records. The applicant’s and adult family members’ criminal records will be required.

  • Public or private health insurance with an insurer working in Spain.
  • Accreditation of the investor’s financial means to support himself and his family.
